Learn MoreLacey Wismer is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fillmore as well as Hunter Search Capital. She has been investing in ETA since 2010, the first ten years as part of her role at Hunter Trust, where she managed private equity investments with an emphasis on search funds. During her time at Hunter Trust, she made over 50 investments in the search fund space. At the firm, Lacey spends time on post-acquisition value creation through her work on boards and and is increasingly focused on the firm's engagement in committed capital vehicles, including long term holds.
Lacey is also a Co-Founder of Women’s Search Network, a group formed to encourage more women to consider entrepreneurship through acquisition as a viable career path and to support female searchers and CEOs achieve the highest levels of success.
Prior to joining Hunter Trust, Lacey was a healthcare investment banker at Deutsche Bank with an emphasis on M&A in healthcare services. She was also a consultant for the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). Before attending business school, Lacey worked in corporate sales and athlete management for a sports management firm.
Lacey received a B.A. with Honors from the University of Colorado in 1999 and an M.B.A. from the Stanford GSB in 2004. Lacey has held various board roles for non-profits, including currently as a Private Equity Committee Member for the Stanford Business School Trust Board and an ongoing Alumni Admissions Interviewer for Stanford University. She resides with her husband and their three children in Park City, Utah.
Chris Menier is an experienced software executive and investor with a strong track record in go-to-market (GTM) transformation, AI-driven product innovation, and SaaS revenue optimization. With deep expertise in B2B SaaS, AI/ML, and M&A, he has led companies through strategic pivots, driving growth and increasing enterprise value.
Chris most recently served as CEO of Transifex, a global translation and localization SaaS platform. Under his leadership, Transifex rebuilt its GTM strategy and expanded its total addressable market (TAM) with AI-powered solutions, culminating in a successful acquisition by K1-backed XTM International. Prior to Transifex, Chris was President of Vitria Technology, where he repositioned the company as a leader in AIOps and secured Cisco as its default AIOps partner. Earlier in his career, he founded an ISP, scaled it through strategic acquisitions, and successfully exited to a public company.
Chris holds an MBA from Brown University & IE Business School, a B.S. in Business Administration from the Purdue University system, and studied Computer Engineering at the University of Iowa. He lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and two children.
Billy Bennett is a Director of Fillmore and Hunter Search Capital and is focused on helping searchers and CEOs to be successful. Previously Billy spent 8 years with McKinsey & Company, based in the firm's Denver, San Francisco, Johannesburg, & Minneapolis offices. As an Associate Partner, he was a leader in the Tech, Media, & Telecom and Marketing & Sales practices, focused on business building and top-line acceleration.
Before attending business school, Billy worked in corporate strategy, brand development, and growth for The Walt Disney Company, driving strategic growth programs across all of the company's businesses.
Billy received a B.Sc. with Honors from Indiana University in 2009 and an M.B.A. from the Stanford GSB in 2016. He resides with his wife and their two children in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Sean is an Analyst at Fillmore and Hunter Search Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Sean was a Senior Associate at Silicon Valley Bank on the Healthcare venture debt team in San Francisco. His experience includes origination, underwriting, and portfolio management of debt transactions with Series A-IPO stage companies in the HealthTech, Healthcare Services, and Medical Device industries.
Sean graduated from Indiana University with a B.Sc. in Finance & Accounting from the Kelley School of Business and currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT.
Papa is an Operating Partner at Fillmore where he is responsible for deal sourcing & investment thesis development. Papa also supports our diligence process and post-acquisition value creation. Prior to joining the firm, Papa was a technology investor at Summit Partners and an Investment Banker at Bank of America's M&A group.
Papa has a B.Sc. from the Stern School of Business at NYU where he was Stern Student Body President, NYU Mock Trial President, MLK Merit Scholar and received the John Stevenson Leadership and Community Building Award. Papa currently resides in the greater NYC area.
